Project Details

The new hospital has been designed to combine a highly efficient clinical layout with a stunning external appearance and set in beautifully landscaped grounds. It boasts being a pioneering heart and lung treatment and transplant centre of excellence.

The 40,000sqm hospital has 310 beds, six operating theatres and six catheterisation labs.

Building information modelling (BIM) technology was used to maximise energy efficiency and map all the building services. A clear plan of all the facilities ensures the hospital has long-term flexibility regarding the changing use of spaces. The technology was also used to engage clinicians during the construction process.

Our Contributions

Our Contribution mainly involved:

  • Mechanical LTHW & CHW Floor Plate Fit out to Fan Coil Units, Heater Batteries, Chilled beams,Radiator, Air curtain and Radiant panels
  • Public health Shell & Core and floor Plate fit out Above Ground Foul Rainwater and Condensate drainage installation pipework.
  • Domestic Water services floor Plate fit out to IPS sanitaryware

We connected to 275 Chilled Beams, 322 Radiant Panels, 42 Special Fan Coil Units and further domestic water connections
